Here's a crazy option.

A c mount body where the lens gate can be ossilated from projecting onto a super-8 roll or onto an 8mm CCD.

This way depending on the nature of the work you could decide between quality on film or quantity on miniDV.

I won the Beaulieu 6008 Pro on Ebay for 400 euros. The problem is that it is France, the seller has not been too communicative and I am now worried that this is too expensive considering the risks.
