Re: "Pass The Cart" project, Official Thread
I don't want to name any names but if you look at the roll you'll see that someone had shot about 15 feet, leaving me short. Had I tried to execute a 40 second script, my original plan, I would have been really upset.

Yay, though I am still bummed that I only had 5'. Glad I didn't do anything beyond abstract fun until the cart ended.

Re: feature on super 8, a good idea?
I Travel Because I Have to, I Come Back Because I Love You Another small format feature, shot on super 8, DV and Hi8-to-DCP. 71 minutes. Apparently just screened in Venice and screening soon in Rio de Janeiro. Described thus: “Beautifully structured and ultimately transcendent, "I Travel ...

Just in case... before you send it for servicing, are you sure you had the diopter set right?

I had to phone Chris the publisher to get that. I sent him an interview with Guy Maddin for his farewell issue and it kept bouncing back.

You have this option if you buy from pro8, though it may not have been your intentionrichard p. t. wrote: But definitely shooting on recans and short ends has its place and can be cheaper than super 8 (which doesn't have this option).

Dude, I'm offering up this "filmic approach" for you: finish your Pass the Cart segment so we can wrap up the project. Tim Sorry Justin, but I have to second that. b) I'm glad I didn't participate in Pass The Cart. It's been a nightmare. Actually, it's been okay, almost done, with one exc...
