Re: Fomopan R100

Many thanks for the response Simon...very informative.

So just to be clear, I could use a caffenol developer as 1st and 2nd developers with a R9 bleach?

Thanks

Re: Fomopan R100

Thanks for the replies. Simon, can this stock be processed in a D19 / R9 reversal process as I would TriX? Andre, as it is a reversal process I certainly will use a LomoTank. I am a big fan of the rewind tank though but only for neg processing (so far)...I processed 6,000ft of Double X in it last ye...

Fomopan R100

Has anyone had any experience of processing Fomapan R100 16mm to a negative ...in a rewind tank?

Many thanks.

zenith quartz 1x8c-2 light aberration

Hi I've been shooting with a number of these cameras recently and have found that footage from more than one of them is yielding images with an odd light effect. The centre of the image is exposed perfectly while the left and right hand-side are under-exposed...essentially a hotspot, but one that ru...

Re: Hand-made 16mm narrative featurette

I am attempting to make a new film next year in the far west of the UK. The ambition is to hand-make the film as far as humanly possible (processing within my own micro-lab) and create a piece of work that is somewhere between narrative cinema and experimental film. I am looking to gain support from...

Kodachrome 40

Has anyone had any first hand experience of processing this stuff in BW reversal chemistry? Am I right in thinking that I just need to increase the times for both developers and then clear the remjet with a borax bath after the fixing? The stock has already been exposed so there's no chance of overe...

Can anyone recommend someone to do a quick turnaround of 200ft of BW Super neg to a hard-drive?

Re: Mending a Morse G3 Bakelite tank

Thank you all for the advice. I opted for an epoxy resin in the end...the type used in water tanks...seemed to make sense.

So far so good, but I've only processed 100ft since the repair.

Cheers

Mending a Morse G3 Bakelite tank

I've just got hold of a Morse tank that is unfortunately cracked along the base. Structurally it's fine, and also light-tight, but after doing a test with water liquid does eventually get through and slowly drip out. The bakelite just needs resealing on the inside along the crack. Is there a glue or...

Small Gauge Film Magazines

Are there any small gauge magazines or magazines that cover small gauge filmmaking available in the UK? I'm thinking something like Filmwaves...or are magazines a thing of the past. Many thanks. Mark
