I shot the film, but it was overcast and the exposure needle was firmly glued to F1.4 the whole time. Is there anything I can put in the notes to the laboratory (Dwayne's) that might help get the best out of the footage?

All the best

Kodachrome - Dwayne's

Hello, Another quick query. I am shooting Kodachrome and need as fast a turn around time as possible and yet the Kodak page says that you should still ship it to Switzerland! 1/ Is the 'process paid' part of the stock still valid? 2/ Will it still be valid and will they accept it if I ship it direct...

The rights they have are non-exclusive, which means you can do anything you like with them - you're just letting the BBC show them too. I wouldn't worry about the BBC ripping you off - you're only worry is people seeing your film on the website and ripping you off. But even if they did, what are you...

Derivative works means the book, the play, the trailer, the stills image, etc not just a work that rips-off the script!

Is there any more info on this? What are the films? Subject matter? Genre? What are you shooting on?

Good for you (I'll think I'll try too!)

But (I fear), bad for super 8mm.

Was also interested in the other stocks: tri x, plus x, exktachrome, vision 200 and 500. Any ideas?

Forgot to say: I'm UK based. Although if the shipping costs weren't prohibitive I could get it from abroad.

Cheapest K40 & other stocks

We've probably had this one before, but doing a search I couldn't find much, and so:

Where is the cheapest place to buy K40 and other film stocks? I can bulk buy and buy over the net.

Thanks

I have almost exactly this problem: they look like small flecks of black paint.

Can anyone recommend someone who can fix this (preferably in London)?

By the way, the cameras are a Nizo professional and a nizo 6080.

Cheers,
Daniel

I did that straight after

Thanks anyway.

I'm still keen to find out if anyone has a recommendation for a good carry case in the UK. Do Jessops do anything? UNfortunately I haven't got my camera with me - so I'm going to have to guess the size (can't go any other time).

Cheers

Heya

Thanks angus. I have a feeling that there is a thread on this somewhere. I think people were saying you could do it on super 8 by taking out the cartridge and exposing it to the light...
