Hmmmm....

Reading these posts makes me think I need to get another hobby. Are we all that sex-starved that the mere sight of a woman's hair drives us into paroxysms of lust???????

Heya, Good idea. Gets my vote. In London there is also the Portobello Road Market with a few cine stalls and the Vintage Camera shops that are clustered round the front entrance of the British Museum. Generally, (as you'd expect) they are on the more expensive side, but unlike ebay, you can at least...

Dear Alex, Your arrogant assumption that American has a more enlightened legal system than the rest of the world is unworthy of intelligent response. You gave no reasons as to why you held this belief other than referring vaguely to a man and woman standing before a judge. You offered no comparisons...

Alex, Why are you so arrogant that you believe only America, of all the Western democracies, have these values? Do you even have passport? I suspect that many of the members who post on this forum come from countries which accord women civil rights that are similar to America's or go even further th...

Heya,

I checked the manuals section here and can't find the chinon 200/12xl. Has it been delayed or is it somewhere else?

Hey

Don't think it is fungus. Is there a hood that fits round the UWL III that could prevent this?

Ultrawide Lens III flare

Heya all,

I've been using my UWL III and the results have a mysterious whiteish distortion. I guess it could be flare but I wasn't pointing into any light source.

The lens doesn't have any visible marks or scratches.

Can any one shed any light on this?

"Are they rude everytime?" - Everytime I've been in there (3-4 times - every time I've bought something). "Are they rude immediately, or does it build up the more questions one asks?" - Yep. Although it does get worse; not that I've asked many questions when it's so patently clea...

Heya, I agree with Splee. And in any case the people at the Widescreen centre (one of the few retailers who would know about super 8) are INCREDIBLY RUDE! I have vowed to myself to never purchase anything from there if I can possibly avoid it. So screw them and their offhand, impatient manner! Screw...

Anyone live in London?

K40 versus Super8sound 50D

Hey all,

Can anyone tell me how these two stocks compare in terms of contrast, grain structure, exposure latitude etc
Cheers
Daniel

Ps. Noticed on the polls that no-one (who took part) has used faster super8sound stocks - is there a reason for this?
