My film online

Finally managed to get a film online. It's something I did a few years ago with my Nizo on the 'auto b' setting. It's called 'Self Portrait'.

Pulse of Life on DVD anyone?

Hello, I haven't been here for a while... I am a participant in the 'Pulse of Life' short film. I have tried many ways but I have not ever been able to download it. :( If anyone is willing to download 5 copies to 5 DVD's for me (to be viewed in USA DVD's) I would be grateful.... Let me know the cost...

Trouble with DVD

I had a friend try to download the DVD (NTSC version), his connection at his work is extremely fast (T1 I think). He tried it twice and it failed after about 2 gigs each time (1 1/2-2 hours). I also tried it on a computer with a DSL connection. After about 6 hours I paused it and it would not start ...

My only complaint now is - it was too SHORT!!!!...

My 2 cents

I must say I am happy with the result. Thanks Andreas and everyone else. Although, there are 1 or 2 transitions I don't like (maybe they will look better on DVD). I love the lightbulb in the beginning (kudos to whoever shot that, it is quite sublime as well as the hazy footage that follows it, and t...

Festivals

Can we make a new agreement here? Anyone submitting the film to a festival PLEASE tell us in ADVANCE..(on this thread) That way we can avoid sending DUPLICATES to same festivals and can also work TOGETHER with any person who has the same festival in mind as another one of us.... I am thinking about ...

Have you tightened every screw? Cleaned and lubed it good? Made sure nothing felt 'loose'? Is there a hidden piece of film jammed in somewhere along the film path?
Are your films clean? How are the splices, smooth?

if you use the auto b function, the shutter will only open long enough as needed (up to one full minute). that way if things suddenly get too bright it wont overexpose, and vice versa. i pointed my nizo out my window once at night towards a busy street, it took quite a long time to get only a few se...

i know a guy who has an Elmo GS-1200 with widescreen lens. he has an 8 foot wide projection screen. he buys those current films/trailors from Derann. the image (as far as i've heard) is astounding. Derann screens its new releases like this and some of the investors/clients/etc. cannot believe its S-...

Just saw SMITW. I was inspired. Inspired to put vaseline on my lens (or in front of it somehow, don't want to ruin my lens). I was a little annoyed at the rapid fire editing and that every single shot was blown out, plus the whole thing reaked of David Lynch. I loved the handmade, 2-d sets. It's goo...
