yep - i am about 99% sure those are the prices for both S8 and 16mm - (but now you have me wondering, so i will double check on that tomorrow)

however i will say that those are the rates they give me as a student, not sure if thats better than normal everyday pricing - might be the same.

good luck! - and allow me to offer a piece of advice:

with the ridiculously low cost of domain names and hosting these days, you should (hopefully soon) invest in a domain name (US$8.95/year) and hosting(US$50/year or even much less). i say this as having a .com will add credibility to your ...

yes - you are right. which is why for purposes of a simple cost analysis i was referring to the so-called standards that different stocks are shot at. if you want to shoot 3 frames per second on super 8 then ill be willing to bet it will be ever cheaper than my math indicates above. but thats ...

total for Super 8 B+W reversal= $17.51

16mm 100' Tri-X reversal 7266 from Kodak=$20.59, with 30% student discount= $14.41 ...

i think we should all worry a lot less about semantics and worry lot more about content.

call it what you want, a shitty video is no different than a shitty film.
