Re: Fujica P300... what voltage please ?

Get film from Japan! It only takes a few days and the quality is awesome.

The page is out of date so just email them and ask about Provie 100.

As for the light meter, there's always a chance it no longer works right.

Re: spectra p-251 pro cine meter question

Weird running into this post so many years later. Flatwood is gone and I'm holding the meter he was talking about, in my hand. He sold it to my a couple years after this post, I guess it didn't work out for him.

Re: Reloading single-8 carts with super-8

This machine was made as a unique model. The author is not building this kind of instruments anymore. You can make something similar if you buy a Fujica P2 and adjust the motor to run in backwards . It's really a great help when recharging Single-8 cartridges :) Is that just a matter of putting the...

Re: Flatwood (Tabby Crabb) Passing?

Odd. Just today I was checking out the Spectra Cine light meter I got from Tabby. I haven't changed the battery in 12 years and it still works!

Re: Process EM-26

By the way, on the cart it says:

E160
P

7257

Kodak Ektachrome 160 Movie Film Type A

V57621 K30753

4639

Would these help me figure out which country he bought the cartridge at?

Thanks.

Process EM-26

My grandfather died over 30 years ago and I have a cart of film from his Super 8 camera. I'm sorta curious to process it and see what's in it. Who still processes EM-26? It might be a complete waste of money or there might be something interesting in there. I guess I'll only know if I try to develop...

Re: Is Kodachrome still processed ANYWHERE in the world?

Thanks, John. What I'm hoping for in the end is that Kodak will bring it back. We'll see. Last year they announced a new camera, still nothing. This year they announced the return of Ektachrome, still nothing. But in the middle of all that there were rumors that they might bring back Kodachrome. Who...

Have been enjoying marital bliss the last ten years, married to a typically hobby-hating wonderful wife. ;-)

Is Kodachrome still processed ANYWHERE in the world?

Is Kodachrome still processed ANYWHERE in the world? I was thinking of shooting the last cart but I wanted to process it in colour, not as B&W. I hear Dwayne's gave up.

I don't mean processing it, I actually mean mass producing the film cartridges.

Kodachrome K40 chemistry question

Is the formula for Kodachrome 40 openly known? Would a small company be able to produce Kodachrome Super 8 cartridges? I think the retirement of K40 left a hole in the market that should be filled.
