Just a note, the video version of film grain is not gain , it's noise . Gain is a way of electronically pushing up the picture's brightness without manipulating aperture, thus it only emphasizes video's native noise since it's not using physico-optical means. And as for S8 and grain...what grain wit...

It is plain E6 processing (or not) and might just as well go to Andec or others. And faster...

LC, I'm very sorry. I didn't use a watch when I timed my shots and I felt like running out of my 30 seconds pretty fast. We'll see who to blame when it'll be back from processing.

As for compact and convenient for vacation shooting, it's very hard to beat the Agfa Microflex series. On their website, GK Film state that the customer demand for Velvia50D is so high that each order takes 14 days. Frank has run out of his avalaible units as well.
