Re: UNCHAINED

I was reading an article this morning where the writer found some long lost music recording that was posted on youtube. The article went on about the many rare recordings posted on youtube. Might be worth checking, but could be like finding a needle in a used haystack.

....I am thinking it will be about as useful and remembered as fondly as Iomega Zip discs... Cheers, Mike I think I used my iomega three times before I shelved it, then I eventually bought a USB Flash Drive with more capacity and no moving parts. I went straight from 8-tracks to compact disc, skipp...

Re: Movie Theaters in Big Trouble

That's simply crazy talk. I'm picky and there are 6 or 7 things I'd LOVE to see in the theaters right now, and that's living in Austin, TX, not NYC, where I used to be able to see stuff that was never bound for smaller markets. To say that Hollywood used to make these tremendous movies that motivat...

Note for Paul: I've found my better recordings happened when setting the mic gain at medium. I bought the Zoom H2 when it first came out, but I haven't had enough time on it yet to say much yet. So far, I've been pleased with the time I have put into the recorder. There are Transcend 8GB sd cards th...

Mars Jr was a strange man who tried to get John Wayne to advertise his chocolates for free, figuring that Wayne ought to feel privileged and pay for the association with such fine products! Now that you mention it and you may not know the answer, but didn't John Wayne's son do some paid advertising...

Many of us Brits are still upset that we now have to call a certain chocolate bar "snickers" instead of "Marathon". I know it was called "Snickers" in many parts of the world before...but childhood memories die hard! In the US, a Marathon bar was different from a Snick...

bought my latest VCR at a Wal-Mart, and not ashamed to say i paid 22.66 for it. Now that tidbit I can use, since mine just died and I hate paying much for that stuff. I bet Roger can't stay off the forum for long. Someone 'll say something to get him going. Anyone want to start a board on what day ...

By John's posts we all knew this was coming, but still did not expect it since John was so positive and trying so hard to keep going. John still had a most positive outlook in spite of any setbacks. His passion for his life and career shows in the lifetime of achievements and accomplishments we have...

If you sent it by U.S. Mail, contact the postal inspector. It's their jurisdiction, and they will take action. It's postal fraud on the part of the seller. It's rather a moot point, I sent the payment through Paypal...I've already gone through their dispute workflow and they're every bit as useless...

..and that same old question is in my mind. WTF is so difficult that people can't take a photo of the stuff they are selling. Lazy good for nothings spend more time stealing a photo than just taking one... My rant for the day.

I'm amazed you guys can remember so much Star Wars trivia. I must have been stoned when I saw the original in '77; I remember the bar scene and the death star, but all the rest was wallpaper. Certainly not the life-defining experience so many others report. The most memorable part of the original s...

The energizer bunny never did so well. Thank you for taking the time to update all of us. Just think of the advantages of watching movies at home. Makes me wonder if there is something that can't be noticed and/or read so easily by people, but would show up plain as day to a video camera. Great way to mark your equipment, and have it show in the final game video. Of course, they'd probably spend money just to edit it back out again. Humorous t...
