Re: Beaulieu 4008 with Canon C-8 wide attachment
You can buy an ultra wide lens for the Angenieux 8-64mm and the Schneider 6-66mm here - Chris. This lens I actually have. Got it a while back but I didn't know it was dedicated to the 6-66mm. I wonder how different this would be compared to the C-8. The problem still remains that my image is blurry...

Re: Beaulieu 4008 with Canon C-8 wide attachment
Thanks for the info. A while back I was testing a Beaulieu 6008 S for someone.
Tried out a Nizo type III on it and had no problems. A prime c-mount would be better for sure.

Re: Beaulieu 4008 with Canon C-8 wide attachment
I have the Optivaron 6-66mm. I decided not to take the risk and I used my Canon 814XLS instead. Good thing, as there wasn't much light at all. I'll eventually give it a try with a less important project. I'm doing some pickup shots tomorrow in an even darker environment. I'm going to play it safe wi...

Speaking of paying too much.
I watched a Minolta 601XL on ebay go for $400.
Crazy I tells ya.

Vision 200T skip bleach
I remember reading a post by Jusetan regarding shooting negative stock and having the lab do a bleach bypass. Can't find his post. I'd like to give this a try but I need some advice on exposure, filteration etc. The stock I have maybe quite old, not too sure. It's Vision 200T 4234. ECN2 process. Any...

Beaulieu 4008 with Canon C-8 wide attachment
I'm shooting a music video in a few days. I want to try out my Beaulieu 4008 with my Canon C-8 wide attachment. I find the macro mechanism on the Beaulieu Optivaron to be somewhat touchy. With the ground glass in place everything looks in focus without having even having to go into macro mode. I don...

Re: Smallest Super 8 Camera?
A Bolex 350 macro is fairly small and supports 24 fps.

Proper disposal of photo chemicals
I'm going through a major overhaul of my apartment.
Tossing out a bunch of old stuff.
I have many 2L pop bottles filled with used photo developing chemicals.
Does any one know how they can be disposed of(legally) or know a place in Toronto where I can take them?
Thanks,

Likewise. The cartridge compartment is also so deep that it will make working on it very difficult.Aaron_M wrote: but I think you've just scared me enough not to do it.
