16mm short

wow. this is a lot to digest. thanks for all the critique. many points for me to consider. i will not be using that logo for presentation. i have been feeling uncomfortable with it for some time and your opinions helped me. when making something deliberately rough one always runs the risk of the wor...

16mm short

Hello Mattias, First off, thanks very much for taking the time to give me some feedback. Number two; well, i'm the guilty party regarding the sound design since I had no help on this one. I probably should've went all the way, but i shot the film totally silent so you can imagine the burn-out factor...

Thanks for the response Cristoph. I'm trying to avoid too much control in post. I've shot tri-x with a red #25 and loved the results; I was under the impression that the neg stock will have a better image. I will experiment with a red on the neg stock and see what happens once the stuff is in my com...

Yellow Filter?

If shooting 200D/T outdoors and desaturating to black and white what kind of contrast will I get? Does anyone suggest a yellow filter?

I'm looking for high contrast but not sure if the 200 in daylight will have enough.
Thanks

no opinions on going small? Nobody been hassled over the gun like shape of super 8 cameras? Funny. I've been thinking about that recently but I shoot in NYC on the streets and haven't gotten too many looks. Still I worry about it with all the rediculous paranoia. I'll keep shooting until they arres...

Considering socio-economic implications of Super 8 seems a bit silly to me. I find that super 8 is a medium just like anything else. True, it is less expensive than its big brothers but it is quite different from DV. Just like in music there is analog and digital. For example: Acoustic instruments c...
