I have to say that I never experienced "pumping/breathing focus" on any of my exposed super8 cartridges... there is some focus pumping visible on a few single frames at the beginning of a new scene once in a while, but that does not bother me.. I don´t think a new pressure plate constru...

thanks.. its 99% tri-x, rest plus-x I used the optivaron in addition with the schneider ultrawide III lens. the original footage is even sharper. what you see on stage6 is a divx file that used an 200mb mpeg as source file.. the second part of the video got aired on mtv here in germany a few weeks a...

wow..I like the desaturated look of the scenes where the band plays their instruments.. too bad it has so much interlacing artifacts and slight jitter :( please tell me more the produczion process: Camera, lighting, processing of film, telecine, post production here is a link to my latest project......

A friend bought some ekta64 there for me recently.
due to the excellent dollar/euro exchange rate and the student discount
the price per cartridge was euro 7,30.... :)

ok...he is off to new york already.
but I told him to shoot the tri-x with the
switch to the bulb setting all the time..

the leicina allows to engage the filter manually, no matter
if the cartridge is filter notched or not

I do not agree that plus-x looks better than tri-x. I used tri-x and plus-x for some projects and plus-x always looked too boring and too clean for me almost like video. tri-x has nice visible grain and when exposed corrctly nice blacks...for the last project I even bought a nd-filter so I can use t...
