oh..one other thing

and why is it, that when you do some nice steady landcape
shots on a tripod you grab the one cartridge out of six
that causes slight jitter!!! damn

got back my 38minutes rank cintel transfer yesterday of a music video project I am working on right now. (K40, Ektachr., TRI X) Before Ektachrome is getting discontinued I wanted to take the chance to use this stock (never used it before) ..got it kinda cheap...about 7euro/cartridge..got me 4... and...

i don´ know if i am giving away a big secret here, but try to get your vision stocks over somebody official you know at a film school or something... kodak puts a big discount on prices when institiutions like this order... far beyond the usual student discount... in fact my last vision 500t cart...

i tried this with my leicina special recently. I used one of those surveillance camera+ b/w monitor combos you can get for cheap knowadays both, camera and monitor can run on batteries and the camera/monitor connection are wireless!!! as i expected the ccd cameras focal lenth turned out to be to sho...

hope they got it wrong and they refer to the fact that
ektachrome is disontinued.

just read in the "film&TV Kameramann" (a reliable and respected magazine) that kodak is about to offer only vision2 material in the near future (all formats) and is about to stop all reversal materials including super8 reversal (k40)! next year the EXR 48 material plus the super8 rever...

well, when measuring with an external light meter I have
to know the exact fps rate my camera performs at in order to
expose the film correctly!

i measured the frequency by using my digital audio workstation. i have a nice audio recording studio,..so i took the the synchronising pulse offered on pin 3 and 8 on the leicina, routed it into my audio mixing board and recorded the signal down on my computers hard disk as an audio file, there you ...
