Beaulieu manual needed

Postby Lambretta » Thu Aug 10, 2006 2:31 pm

Just wondering if anyone has the user manual for the Beaulieu 1028XL60 that they can upload and email to me.

I´m not sure it can expose 64T properly.
I´m doing experiments whit 160T cartridge and Kaccema cartridge (notchet as 64D) and the IE is the same.

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

I wondered about the same thing - the manual states that the camera should be able to rate the e64t correctly. Nevertheless its nodge-meter is rather obscure:

P.S.: If I recall correctly I've only got a German manual.

Hello, Jörg.

Yesterday I was doing more trials with tree cartridges and I found the oscillation of the meter dont move a potentiometer, ie the ASA ratings is not progressive: It´s in discrete Steps: 25-40-160-400.

Super8wiki is wrong.

BAD news but I have an idea to shoot 64T:Inside the cartridge compartiment there is a small control dial for fine tuning the automatic exposure. The range of this tuning may be +- 2/3 f-stop.

If we can set this adjustement to -2/3 f-stop and the camera think there is a ASA 40 cartridge, the auto exposure will be fine for 64T.
All we need is refill with something the 64 notch to 40.

Can you scan the German manual?.

Thanks a lot.

That's my mistake - I only copied the data from the manual.

There should be a manual exposure (correction) dial on the outside, too!

I'll try to do that on Monday. Please PM me your eMail-address and your max. size for eMails (my PDFs tend to become rather large: 10-20MB or more).
