Looks like Kodak wants us to get excited. Here's a video of the assembly line for 50D.

Where's the beef? I have had over 100 S8 50D on order since Jan.1 and have to date received nothing. I have checked with Kodak and have no response regard 50D. If anyone knows what is going on let us know.

I'll give you one right now. How's 6 reels? Just need to make sure I can get it processed but I think Alpha Cine will handle it fine.

John!

How did you convince Kodak to reperf 16mm or 35mm V3 50D into Regular 8 stock? That is great news. Any others? e.g. V3 200T 250D or 500T?

Regards,

Nicholas

I'm definitely in on an order, but who prints R8? I know a scan is all fine, but I like to have a projectable version of the film... can you get it printed by a lab that does 16mm?

Apparently ORWO (http://www.filmotec.de) has a slitting and perforating service available.
Unfortunately, I don't think they can do R8 or DS8 pitch perforating.
Interested parties could inquire I guess.

Wittner is still selling S8 100D and are firm that it is not over too soon. I.e. there are supplies and Kodak is delivering still.

The S8 V 50D is still on COMING SOON
