CANON 318

I have a canon 318 with collapsable pistol grip. The lightmeter jumps, maybe due to bad contact, and lense threads quite dry. Is it worth the money to have it serviced by proffesionals?

I personally wouldn't put money into it. There are so many better, working models around that you could purchase for the repair cost.
