Short film on super8 making the festivals

Post by Dan Salzmann » Wed Nov 18, 2009 7:54 pm

This is a teaser for "The Last Supper" a film that was the cinematographer on.
It was shot on Kodak 7218 super8 negative film.
A Leicina Special and a Canon 1014XLS were the cameras used.
The illustrious Arno Bouchard, the director of the film is quite happy with the results and so was John Zorn, the internationallu acclaimed composer who composed an original soundtrack for it.
It is making the festival rounds and has been accepted at the prestigious Clermont Ferrrand International Film Festival and others.

Wow! Looks fantastic! Reminds me the movies of Jodorowsky. I haven't seen anything this good shot on super 8, for a very long time, at least.

Wow, looks pretty crazy. I like it. And the quality of the cinematography is top notch. Good work.
