Would it be possible for you to list who the shooters were on these particular carts? I swear to God, I can't even recall if I was on it, it's been so long...

You were on "Cart #1" (the 2nd replacement one!) with Flatwood and myself. You can see your name sort of hidden there on the Cart #1 sheet.

Yes, "Scott" was the guy who disappeared with this cart #1 the first time around. Then we got the other one going to replace it, but besides Flatwood and CHAS and myself, I'm not sure who else actually ended up shooting it.

My memory is a little fuzzy on this as well.

I told you guys not to worry!

PTC1 is transferred! :D

Kent just emailed me to tell me the transfer is done- all 18.5GB of it!
Kent also kindly offered to host a torrent, but neither of us have a clue how to go about it- we need someone to hold our hands through this- anyone? At this stage I think the files should go only to the participants- we can decide what to do later about showing the world. So please could all interested participants PM your email address so we can get details of this torrent to you and start the download.

Mark :D

Massive thanks to Kent- he's THE Man!

downsized from the transfer and I used auto levels on a couple of the flatter looking ones.

Looking good

If anyone knows how to create a torrent, step by step, they can send me a email about it. I could kickstart the torrent later tonight. I have never created a torrent, so I have no idea how to do it.

I could create two torrents, one with the original ProRes HQ files, and one with downscaled DV-PAL files. Then someone who is only planning for a SD version could download the DV-PAL version and start editing with whatever editing program they have.

More NLE softwares can handle DV files compared to ProRes, at least NLE like Windows Moviemaker and Pinnacle.

I've read that it's possible to make a private torrent using uTorrent without a tracker. Seems we just need to create the .torrent file and distribute it manually to participants email addys and exchange IP addresses. Would that be a good way? Disadvantages? (Christoph or anyone else who's skilled in the art of Torrents ;-) (we won't judge- promise!)

I´m not sure what the advantage of a private trackerless torrent would be... If we distribute the link to the torrent with emails and PMs, then it shouldn´t matter. Locking it to IP adresses sounds unnecessarily complicated.

If the group is so limited the files might just as well be served from a hidden directory of the website of Uppsala technik. As long as not al download their stuff in the same day and hours all should work.

Or is the torrent imagined somewhere else? In Sweden everybody should be on Fibre-to-the-home by now. No participating Korean members here? There they have enough bandwidth in their watches :)

The frame grabs look great. Over the past few years, the colors held up fine.
Can't wait to see the films.
