Re: Regular 8 V3 500T

I checked with ANDEC. Andec will process regular/normal 8 V3 color negative. They will also consider making positive prints but have not had any demand. Interesting point is that have already processed several spools of color negative film. Someone out there in film land must have made some R8 colo...

Re: Regular 8 V3 500T

Good luck for new project, John, me, your Italian customer, would buy for sure your Vision 500T for Regular 8.

Info: lab who process the Vision 3 in Super 8, 16mm, etc. can easily process also the Double 8?

Re: Regular 8 Vision 3 50D and 250D

I should add that spooled cost of this stuff will be about $1.50/foot - that's cost, not cost + profit. I intend to sell for cost. $1.50 per foot makes $45-50 per roll. Still I would advise to keep a proper margin to allow for unexpected losses in cutting or with later handling like somebody switch...

Krasnokorgsk 3 Asa

Someone who have Krasnogorsk 3, can tell me if also "classic" standard settings of Asa knob (100, 105, 200...) the camera also allows intermediate Asa settings, type 125, 160, etc.?
Or we must do a calculation with stop when using the light meter?

Thank you! :)

Re: Octameter for H8 info

Yes, same problem with mounted directly, but much less, as if by increasing the distance of the Octamer from the door of camera also would increase the problem. I bought the accessory for this reason (Pancinor lenght): However bayonet cameras have a bigger lens mount with an extra bit of plastic whi...

Octameter for H8 info

Question for Bolex experts, Help! On my H8 Bolex Rex 4, with Pan Cinor RX H8, I have Octameter for H8 version, model VIHUI. I also have the "extended bracket for Octameter" an extremely rare accessory! The normal horizontal parallaxe is a standard problem through by dial distances function on the si...

Re: Wittner 200D under artificial light - filter?

I've never used a daylight Bowens, while with Aviphot I am comfortable with my Flectalux, but because it is 1000 watt and it to be sufficient.

Re: Wittner 200D under artificial light - filter?

Among other things, many filmaker don't like this Aviphot 200D for i'ts lot of grain: I rather like it for some projects, it gives an idea of a "oniric", it's special. If we expect a film silky and Ok for the little details it's not a good, for me, but for other things is a very nice emulsion.

Re: Wittner 200D under artificial light - filter?

Yes, that blue takes, relatively, a lot of light I use 80A filer also with my Fujica Zc 1000 Single 8, but it has an internal light meter, TTL, so just put the filter over the lens and the exposure meter automatically detects the lowering of light. But there who, even with the TTL system, prefers to...

Re: Wittner 200D under artificial light - filter?

Yes, 50 Asa under artificial light, because the filter absorbs two stop of light. it is as if "stealing" light to the film.
