Re: Lightmeter calibration Canon

So there is 4 potentiometers. no 1, 3 and 4 makes the needle jump to highest f-stop and while moving nr 2 it´s possible to do small calibrations. And intriguingly the needle only reacts to movment on pot 3 and 4 while the camera is in "XL" mode. Any suggestions on hoe to calibrate the light meter...

Lightmeter calibration Canon

Hello! I´m in to my third Canon 814 XL Electronic. Previous ones had problems with filmspeed. This one however seems to work speedwise but the lightmeter needs calibration (I think). So while wrecking another one I found 4 potentiometers under the plastic shield above the handle. The two to the l...

Re: Nikon R-10 trick functions

Hello!
Yes I opened it up and it´s simple B U T someone during it´s liftime has done some clumsy soldering in it so I just want to check if the wires (differently colored) reach the correct pad.
Kind regards, Gabriel

Nikon R-10 trick functions

Hello! The Nikon R-10 has many nice functions for trick shots but there is a few things that I find very strange: When You do lap-dissolve the camera accepts 100 frames rewind B U T it also stops after 100 frames in the forward position. Is that correct. That You have to stop after this and do the f...

price

That´s odd. I mailed Dwaynes and they replayed that the cahrge was 22 USD/cart. Maybe they referred to 200 Foot reels.

Sound film processing

Hello!
What about prices for developing sound film. Dwaynes apparently charges 22 $/cart for KODAK K40 Sound film. Is that the regular price or are there more resonable companies?
