I have a secret. Please don't tell anyone.

Dwayne's has S8 E100 in stock, as well as 35mm E100.

Be nice to the wonderful people there, please. And remember to send them your film to them for processing. We need a reliable processor with high volume capabilities to survive. Dwayne's is the one.

Ektachrome in hand!

Ok, it's not cine film, but I still think this is noteworthy. I was at Central Camera in Chicago today and I was surprised to see E100 on the shelf. It was the new stuff, and it had arrived less than an hour before I did. They didn't have any S8 yet, so I bought 35mm. Plan to shoot first roll on Wed...

Re: Ilford Colorcine 8mm film

It makes me feel good when I hear about places *starting* to stock film. Remarkable. I hope more establishments start selling film.

I was actually in an art store today and was surprised to see several flavors of 135 film available. Apparently, a nearby community college has a photography class.

Re: Ilford Colorcine 8mm film

Great Foley editing.

Kodachrome triumphs over all other manufacturers' products every time. It's a shame it's gone.

Re: Introduction and a Kodak 16mm magazine project

Kiev magazines will accept 1R film. They are otherwise the same as Kodak magazines.

I've had poor luck running Kiev magazines.

Re: 16mm

I wish EK would reissue the K100. I have Bolexes, an a-minima, and two Arris. My favorite camera to shoot with is the K100, even though I love my Bolexes more. The K100 is a convenient shape. It fits nicely into a video bag. It's not all sparkly like a Bolex, so it doesn't attract lookeeloos. And, a...

I have two R-10s. I use a quarter. It works perfectly and it is easy to remove.

Re: Regular 8mm Black & White Print

Yes, I have a pretty large inventory of Regular 8 TXR now. I'm going to have Fotokem do a couple test prints with the 3383, then I'll decide what to do next.

Thanks
