Re: Reflecta Film Scanner

I thought I heard Reflecta before but got confused when I saw the pic in the link OP posted. Then Andreas mentioned they made two and it all made sense!

This was what I remembered https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/ ... anner.html

Re: Who's Left Shooting 16mm?

Ha! I think we have a lot in common Krasnogorskistan! I'm a serious amateur, shooting my family, surfing mostly. Happy to say I'm currently working on a super 8 short that includes me shaping and surfing with my friend Karu from Japan who's a hair stylist! See below for my weapons of choice!

Re: Reloading single-8 carts with super-8

Yes can be done. There was a video of someone setup on Vimeo i think. Just need to load 40ft instead of 50ft to avoid any problems.

camera8mm wrote:The gate on this scanner is rather sensitive. I had to reset the film in the gate under the guides to prevent the film jumpiness. Doesn't seem to matter so far if the film or old or new. I'll post more clips in a few days.
Much appreciated!!!

Good to hear! Your tests used some older films, did you run any new films? Better results? Regards

Fredrik, I was impressed by the cinematography, and your home development of the film! Just need to cut a soundtrack!
