FS: original Elmo scope lens holder / bracket for 16CL or other projectors

Some people call it scope lens bracket but it is also known as scope lens holder. Originally this is made by Elmo for Elmo 16 CL and Kodak CT1000 projectors, however, someone in the UK can modify it to be used for other projectors too. This is a new old stock (NOS) item. The bracket/holder will fit ...

Re: 5 Years Since End of Kodachrome Processing

....does Dwayne's still have the K14 machinery and could it be brought back into use? As Kodachrome was exclusively owned by Kodak, I believe Kodak lent the equipment to Dwayne. When Kodak stopped the Kodachrome, the machine was returned to Kodak. Kodak may still keep the machine but the chemicals ...

Re: Contest of film transfer (frame by frame technique)

Woooow that is amazing transfer. Is ochoypico a machine or a transfer house using one of the above machines? O yeah, I forgot to mention that the contest I propose has also to include those digital technique to increase the quality such as denoise, sharpening, re-color etc something the so called "d...

Contest of film transfer (frame by frame technique)

There are a lot of film transfer machines now using frame by frame scan. I found: MovieStuff Tobin Flashscan8 (MWA) FilmFabriek and perhaps some other that I don't know, plus those home made machine by the enthusiasts. Every time each machine giving the sample it is always taken from home movies whi...

Re: Any camera disengange the built in filter automatically?

I previously shooting with Elmo super 106. This camera has a manual switcher where we have to switch on/off the filter depending of the type of film we are using. I once forgot to switch this when I was shooting with E100D indoor with high power tungsten shooting lamp. The result of picture was very...

Any camera disengange the built in filter automatically?

I don't know if I were lucky. I was shooting with Sankyo XL-40S using Ektachrome 100D. Since that was a daylight stock I should switch the filter from tungsten to daylight but just realized it in the middle of shooting, so I switched it later on. I was thinking that the first half of shooting would ...

F/S Lots of super 8mm Classic British Comedy & Action films

Hi all, Probably not the best place to post this, but as this is still related to super 8mm, perhaps one of you are interested in film collecting hobby as I am. Anyway, a long time fellow collector in NZ was going to retire. I may no need to mention his name, but you can follow the thread somewhere....

Re: I found a bunch of brandnew Ektachrome 64T at Craiglist!

There is a guy by the name of Justin who is also doing 8mm things in Toronto. I bought films a couple of times from him. He lives in Younge & Eglington. I guess it is only LIFT in Toronto that is still interested with 8mm. I am more a package film collector. In other film collecting forum: http://8m...

Re: I found a bunch of brandnew Ektachrome 64T at Craiglist!

Hi Mitch,

Yes the 64T is using the same chemical process, E6.

Perhaps you do not follow, the 64T was released 6-7 years ago and replaced by 100D. This is tungsteen stock (use filter 80b for outdoor).

The later 64T gives almost the same result with 100d. My own opinion though

I found a bunch of brandnew Ektachrome 64T at Craiglist!!

What an incredible story I got this week. As you may have known that Kodak has recently stopped producing Ektachrome 100D, so this means the films shooting hobby is dying. We can rely only on Fuji (and AGFA?) by slitting their 35mm slide film done by Wittner. This making the price of super 8mm will ...
