Not sure if this is a great place to put this, but I guess I'll give it a shot for those who may be interested.
I'm Chris, and I've been a part of the Super 8 Filmmaking site for some time now. I don't participate in discussion as much as I'd like to, but I do read the forums regularly.
Anyway, I'm here because I want to tell everyone about a podcast that I do. If you don't know what a podcast is click here.
My show is called The Martini Shot, and is a talk show about Independent (and sometimes mainstream) filmmaking for the novice filmmaker, hosted by a filmmaker. I'm just like everyone else here, experimenting and learning as I go along, doing it for the love of the medium. I talk about digital and film, and have already mentioned this site in the show. In fact, that show was entirely dedicated to Super 8!
The show consists of several segments, some of which are regulars and some of which rotate. I generally pick a topic for the show, talk about that, then move on to other segments which include my rants, Sites of the Week, movie music, and other stuff.
So i'd appreciate some feedback on the show, if anyone's interested. There are several different ways to listen to the show, and you don't even need an iPod or other portable mp3 player to listen...just some kind of listening device or media player. Again, check out http://themartinishot.filmosity.com for information and show notes.
Thanks everyone for your time and expetise.

Hi Chris, I found the Super8 episode and I'm listening to it as I type this. I give you a big thumbs up for your efforts on The Martini Shot, but I have some constructive criticism if you want it.
I think there's too much stuff like "oops, I..uh...bumped the microphone" or "let me just get this box of....hold on, I'll be right..back". A lot of "umms".
It just sounds like you're not quite fully prepared for some of the show, and theres parts that sound like you're rambling sometimes....searching for what to say.
Again, this is just some little stuff. I mean, I don't have a podcast you know?
I know the episodes are kinda long, but if previewing the episodes before you post it is an option, you might want to try it.
But I definitely think it's a great start and a great way to get novices clued in to some of the lingo, equipment, etc. Best of luck on future episodes!
