I was looking for film splicer, but I found out that seller also had this item.
Porst S-8 850 Sound XL camera. It looks like it is made by Bauer and similar to Bauer S 409 XL (picture in Jürgen Lossau's book).
Does anyone know this camera ? I could find it from any of regular S8 camer lists.

"Film splicer" sounds a bit hard for that a good camera;)
I do not have the book you mentioned but I have once seen this Porst photographed in the web. The material for the buttons and for other parts appeared to be slightly different (cheaper?) but basically it was the same model.
Beside from Bauer, Porst has used to sell a lot of other brand's photographical stuff with slight modifications under its name (e.g.Chinon, Fujica).
