Nizo 6080 - Troubles with the light meter

Post by Henry »

Hi !
I’m shooting very well with my 6080, all takes are exactly exposed with the exception of shots on the sea against the light with strong reflections on the water, when the sun is turning up high. All these shots are overexposed. In such a case the aperture is normally going close.
With my Nikon R-10 and my Bauer A-512 I don’t have any troubles in such a case. A friend of mine was diving with his 6080 and he just brought back shots, which were strongly overexposed. Perhaps strong reflections might have caused this problem.
My question:
Does an XL – camera like the 6080 react so sensitive to reflections on the water ?
Who has also got experience with the Nizo’s 4080 or 6080 ?

Havent got any experience with those Nizos and the particular situation described...
If the aperture is closed you have apparently reached a limit that can happen sooner with a fast lens and a relatively large minimum aperture. How about a grey filter then?
Another point is reflection from surfaces and how they are handelt by the ttl system ...
The image shouldnt be brighter as you see it - how about manual aperture control forinstants with an external meter ?
