8O Does anyone know how to use the FADE IN/OUT and the DISSOLVE features on the Beaulieu 4008ZMII? I was unable to download the manual online and need help...

Need help with Beaulieu 4008ZMII!

there should be a tiny metal lever at the upper side of the cam. When bringing that lever to the front side (in lens direction), the shutter closes accordingly. Normally, there is a marked position, where it can be fixed at halve closed shutter (pulling it) to achieve shorter shutter times.
For lapp dissolves, the scene must be faded out while pressing the declutch button at the same time. THis button on the upper side of the cam stopps the film friction while fading out. Then you rewind the film using the rewind button, attached to the camera´s main reel. Rewind until the first slight resistance or look at the frame counter before fading out. Then start the next scene with a fade in. It´s very tricky to overlap fade out and fade in exactly!
