Krasnogorsk-3 example
I know many of you want to see examples of film shot with various cameras. I just scanned some testfilms I got back and here's a quick sample of what a Krasnogorsk-3 film can look like. The filmstock is Kodak 7245 and the camera is used with its standard lens and nothing else, except the TIV300K for the timelapse shots.

(Windows Media 9)
Check out the steadiness and please don't mind the scan. Yeah, I know the colours don't look too good everywhere.

Had the same problem. However, I found that if the clip is downloaded prior to run it works.Daniel wrote:Hello,
Sorry but I can see it. Windows Media Player says that it do not recognize the specified transmission (?).
I am working in a Mac OSX. If you could upload in .mov would be cool.
If not don't worry.
Thanks
Daniel
WIMP is a shitty thing Andreas. Why not use something like: QT/MOV + Sorenson3

You mean the houses? They are from a place called Åkerøya. The house below actually belongs to my family and has since it was built 130 years ago.sunrise wrote:Is this Kristiansand or is it Legoland?
It looks very good. I have been looking into doing one of my next projects on 16mm, and I guess you just convinced me...
michael

Åkerøya is about 30 minutes from Kristiansand and it's a small island.
16mm looks really good and sharp I think.
To all those who have problems with Windows Media, try downloading and installing the latest (free) player from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmedia or try to download the file first and then play it.

Yes, I use and Bosch/BTS/Philips FDL-60 (same factory and series as the Spirit, just older) which is like an old rank, only it is based on CCD technology instead of CRT.T-Scan wrote:Very Nice! Not a bad telecine either.. if i recall, you use something similar to an older Rank? I long to shoot 16mm, the fine grain in that clip makes me more anxious. just a whole new realm of equipment

I'm going to have to try some 50D with my K-3

Is a one light transfer the cheapest option for a transfer?
It's not the size that counts, its what u do with it!
