Dual film projector screen balance problem

I have just bought a Eumig dual film projector in great condition(I think).. However, when I started it up for the first time today the screen was not displayed properly on the wall. The lower quarter of the picture was at the top of the picture, I am lost for the word right now but like on an old television this occurs often, and you adjust a knob to get it in-line.

My question is, before I start turning knobs and screwing screws...is this common on old film projectors and is it actually possible for me to adjust something on the projector, or is this serious?

Hi, here are a few lines, someone may explain it better than me. Try adjusting the frame line knob on the projector, sometimes located near the focus knob. If the frame line knob makes no difference then this is your problem.The frame knob is broken. If the frame line does move up or down but you cant completely remove the frame line from the screen it could be the frame line in your camera is out of adjustment. Try another film in the projector from a different source, say a different camera.
