10mm cinegon
i read somewhere that the finest and most corrected lens for super 8 was the 10mm cinegon fitted to the Leicina Special. What is the best lens ever fitted to a super 8 camera.

I had the Leicina Special with both the Schneider 6-66 (one of the sharpest Schneider zoom lens, maybe even the sharpest according to some S8 users) and the Cinegon lens.
the Schneider zoom lens was sharp. Especially at mid zoom and iris. However, there is a clear superiority of the Cinegon. It had the best sharpenss and contrast I have seen in a Super 8 (I have owned Canon 1014 E, 814 E, 814 XL-S, Nizo Pro, Nizo 6080 and used Beaulieu 6008 with 6-70mm lens).
According to many the Angenieux 6-90 1.2 is the best zoom lens. I have not seen an image from it yet. But with the images I have seen from the cameras I have used - the Cinegon takes the Blue Ribbon for performance.
