The R1008MD box is made by Pedro, who posts on this site, he has made
all the sync gear, which includes an interface to be wired into my Bauer T610 projector. The R1008MD generates a pulse for each frame, which is recorded to the left channel of my MD recorder, the live sound goes to the right channel ( mono sound)

Bravo!
What a nice rig! This type of component combination could be the beginning of some whole new enthusiasm for our little film format! Widescreen sound presentation on a big screen with the proper illumination would be a mindblower for those jaded on video. 8)
I envisioned a similiar setup but with the 16:9 anamorphic and a sound blimp for serious production for video projects. Using Kodak's Vision2 stocks a film maker could produce a truely professional production with a unique look.

very nice! i'm working toward the same type setup as soon as my 814xls arrives. Pedro sells that flash adapter i hope too get soon. first i want to experiment with a male-male optical cable and the MD. the HI-MD is scheduled to come out at the end of May. will feature USB uploading at 100 times realtime transfer to your PC, and can store up to 40 hours of recording. i really like the way you configured your setup, thanks for sharing.
