stuck cartridge

stuck cartridge
i'm having some trouble w/a few k40 carts. they will only advance to a point and then seem to get stuck. i've marked a small "x" on the film only to find that it does not move! is this related to all the "jittery cart" experiences i've seen on this page or is it possibly something else?
