How many Super 8 cameras do you own ?
Do you consider yourself to be more a collector or film maker ???
Around 20 cameras the super8s are in my studio and the standard 8s are on my mantlepiece, along with a pathe 9.5mm.
I bought a couple of cheap super8s with the idea of throwing them (running) off buildings and cliffs. But once I had washed and balanced them I couldn't bring myself to do it even though they were 5 buck cameras!

(trying to be) amateur(in the true sense) film maker.
I have two camera's a sankyo something or other, that is simple but I think would survive a nuclear war and a Nizo 561 that despite the praises for this aspect of the range just doesn't feel as sturdy as the old sankyo. I guess that's all the extras to go wrong.
Oh yeah I have a Boots!!!! camera that I bought for about £0 at a boot fair that sits on a mantle piece of my old flat. I would have used it but it was agonner when I got it home!
I have no real desire to collect camera's. Though I would upgrade but I'd have to sell the old one to do that! Having a dead Nizo for parts would be nice too...
It's enough with the records and the postcards and the bike parts!!! I don't even own a house!

Filmmaker.
4 or 5 MinoltaXL400s.
2 Canon 310XLs (so far!).
I'm replacing the Minoltas with the Canons. One thing I like to do is head out into the City with my wife and a friend or two and each shoot a roll. The Minoltas were OK for this, but I think the Canons will be better in the evening.
The buil-up of the Minoltas has been primarily for timelapse stuff. Ironic, then, that I didn't make it into the big, fat, timelapse project!
