Anywhere from 12 to 14 years ago, I bought a roll of super 8 film and never shot it. I don't have the box anymore so I don't know what kind it is, but it's still in the foil wrapper. I only know that it's color, and Kodak. It has been living in closets and in junk piles on various desks, and certainly never refrigerated. It might even have gotten as hot as 100 degrees F. a couple of times.
Is there any chance I could shoot it now and get "interesting" results? Would it develop at all? Is there a chance it could gunk up my camera?

I suggest you shoot it and develop it. You might get pink-ish images, but hey - what the heck.. 
- Or maybe you get some hi-tech super fun effects.. Yes, it will develop, but the images might not be so good and it will deffinatly not ruin your camera.
I developed a Kodachrome 40 film that was almost 20 years old. It came out just fine! Just a little red-pinkish colours.
