I don't know, but I do know the nizo is difficult to repair unless the shop has a lot of nizo parts. I bought one last year on ebay and it failed on me quite soon after. I was unable to get it repaired here in new york. The guy said he could fix most canons but nizo is more difficult.

Nizo repairs

There is a photographic shop in Bolton called...... now I can't remember the name! but they repaired a Beaulieu 1008 for me and generally serviced and I was pleased with the job . The guy they use has been repairing cine cameras for years and seems very competant.

Now I don't know how he would perform with a Nizo, but they at least come apart more easily than the Japanese made 1008. They did not rule out service to any particular make.

I'm still trying to think of the name - they don't have a website but I found their name listed on another site which listed companies connected with Super8.

I will keep trying to think of the name.

I found this with Macintosh Sherlock.

I can't vouch for them but if they can't do it perhaps they know who can.

The shop in Bolton that Matt mentioned may be :

MATHERS Photographic shop
Market Street, BOLTON, Lancashire. BL1 1BU.
Telephone 01204 522186
Fax 01204 529003

They advertise as doing cine repairs & servicing.
Never used them personally though they might be worth phoning.
cheers,

Hi,

That's it - Mathers Photographic. They seemed like a really helpful place and performed good repairs. They also sell all reversal S8 stocks.
