16mm at walmart?

Post by Kashin »

In a post about Walmart's k40 processing, someone wrote something to the effect of "Now I only use them for 16mm kodachrome", and mentioned 100' reels for 5.50.

$5.50 for 100' of 16mm?! At Walmart?!

Never tried it but it wouldn't suprise me. Probably a cock-up on the part of wal-mart. My guess is "movie film is movie film" as far as they are concerned. 1 price for all sounds great. Yesterday I actually picked up two developed rolls of K40 from wal-mart for free. Someone in the chain couldn't figure out the right price code and simply priced the films with a $0.0 code instead of the usual $4.88. The guy at the counter scanned the price, it came up as zero and handed them to me for free. My lucky day!
