I was wondering if it´s possible to find some repair manuals of some of these Beaulieu series.
I can´t find nothing here (in Arg.), but perhaps in Europe, specially France is it possible to get one. I´m afraid that these repair manuals are expensive, and I was thinking if three or four of Us get the money to buy one, sending the bucks to a reliable member of this Forum, and later that member upload the manual/s in this Page.
I want to contribute with money if somebody agrees with me. Many people here (like Me) needs manual repairs or at least diagrams of the mechanical system or electronic circuits of those cameras.
Hi Jukka,
I'll buy you all of them. Need it very very quickly. CD version or photocopy. Krasnogorsk too if you got it.

on tuesday i have a new employee that has been assigned a specific task to put together the following manuals based on both my notes, drawings, and photos of the various cameras:
when i took, and when i take apart these cameras i document the process using notes, sketches, and photos. so now it is just a question of entering all of the information into the computer and then making pdf files. again, i have someone starting tomorrow that will work for the next couple of months entering all of the applicable information in a step by step format that is fully illustrated. i did/do not have the time to do this myself, and this guy owes me money from a load a couple years back, so i figured i would trade it out with all of this work. of the manuals i was able to locate, they were not very helpful regarding specific text to diagram reference, which in my opinion is the most important part about a manual. so this will be addressed with new photos of each assembly and each part. he will work on the 2008/4008 manuals first, and perhaps in as little as 2 weeks a pdf will be completed.

Eric,
That would be cool for shure. But I'll got no access to the repair service (all tools and stuff) of the facility I'm working in in 3 weeks now. I need to do the most mods there so any electronical diagram of the 4008 would be likely the faster here.

well, if i finish mine in time for you, i am sure you will apreciate the work i put into it. i broke it down so it is real easy to take apart the camera and seperate each part, or group of parts into numbered containers so it makes putting it back together a breeze, and in correct order ... which is not part of an original service manual by any stretc of the imagination. however, i some electrical componants i will neeed someone to help me name/lable them correctly as i do not know the technical names of some of those items.
my digital camera does not photograph correctly scaled photos in proper perspective(its one of those sony fixed lens cameras), so when my new changable lens camera arrives i will be able to take photos of each part and part groups and assemblies using an axis control mount for the camera wherein the parts are placed on a center point that has measurements going outward in each direction. this way you can also determine the sizes of each item simply by looking at the photos ... and again, i hope to do this for each side of any given part(except screws and bolts and such that only require one side. regarding the screws and bolts and washers, i am going to create a threaded board that has all the metric and inch holes with text description so i merely need to screw in a particular screw into the peg board and snap the photo. that is one of my pet peeves ... not knowing the sizes and thread types of particular screws ... especially if i lose one.
i have found that if one applies a standard protocol to taking apart a camera like this, it should be applied to anything one takes apart ... one should use the EXACT same system again and again and not diviate from it. this way no matter what you have taken apart you always know where you stand just by looking at your workbench, item and containers. because i find myself taking somethin apart and then having to do something else for a few minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months before i can get back to it, at which point my memory does not serve me well, so i must depend on what i can see and assess. i used ot ust throw everything into the same container ... and have no problems putting things back together, but it requires to much application of mind and memory ... and the older i get the harder it is to apply this practice ;)

Great great news ....
PS : There is a guy there that is willing to give me his pro mile (he is now out of the bizness). This is a huge monster and I'm looking if I have enough space to put it somewhere. This is so f*****g cool.

OK, guys I'll do it as soon as I can. I'm totally busy the whole week (we had IDEAS-cad software meeting in my office the whole week, we're shooting two 2x8/super 8 shorts right now and then I have also one Sorb-I-ToL music video shooting sessions on Sunday!), but I'll let you know, when I have finnished that scanning project.
