July 4th Fireworks

Post by tfunch24 »

The following are clips from a fireworks display I shot on the 4th of July. Sorry if I used Windows Media, but the Cinepak and Indeo-codec based files were just too big for the internet. According to the licensing agreement for DivX, DivX is for personal not commercial use. I do not know if uploading a DivX clip to this server would count as commercial use, so I'm skipping DivX.

File size: 1.66 megs
Filmstock: K40 S8
Cameras utilized: Leicina Super, Canon 512XL
Telecine: Moviestuff WorkPrinter, Jr.

I shot a roll of K40 at the Symphony of Fire (fireworks competition) tonight in Vancouver. I did a couple tests, including shooting at 24 fps at different lens sizes and then shot out the roll using the variable shutter speed function on the Nizo 801M. That could be trippy... we'll see.
