I know it is possible to reload super-8 because I have a couple of russian Cartridges. But does anyone know if it is possible to reload a Fuji single-8 cartridge.
Not having one to hand I expect they are glued or heat sealed together so would required some careful engineering. However, as the layout is much simpler than the super-8 design it is possibly easier to have a go at.
I realise that it is unlikely one could get 50 feet (15m) but even so it would be worth it to be able to use such gems as the P2 with film other than Fujis own. Assuming one can work out the meter setting mechanism.
Otherwise it looks like another project to be added to the list. At least the single-8 film does not have to be wasted as I believe it is processable as ektachrome in the E-6 formula.
