Re: Super 8 processing in NYC?
Hey fellow NYC Super 8 buddy.
The short answer is no. The last place was PacLab and they've closed down years ago.
The slightly longer answer is that Metropolis Post NY will do it for $25/roll but they send it off (presumably to CineLab in MA). So you might as well just send your rolls to CineLab yourself and save a few dollars. But there's the convenience of dropping off in person for sure. Not sure if they charge minimums as I've never actually used them. I don't think there's anywhere else in the city other than the whispered rumors of Kodak possibly opening a place up when they launch their new camera but who knows...
Hit me up if you ever want to meet and chat Super 8! Nick Collingwood. I'm around.
Also if you really want to mix things up, you could take a development workshop at MONO NO AWARE to home process your film but that's a bit more involved obviously.
