Canon Canosound 312 XL-S is it possible to remove the lens?

Hi, I have a Canon Canosound 312 XL-S Super 8 camera here, and the lens looks great. I'd like to remove it for use on my 35mm, does anyone know if it's actually possible to remove the lenses from these cameras?
