Elmo super wide F20S-XL

Hi,

I just got a good condition Elmo Super Wide F20S-XL, I have been looking for one for a long time. I have a special film I want to do with it, more on that eventually.

The question I have is : The super8wiki claim it can do 18 fps and 1 fps. As there are no speed settings, I assume you can do stop-motion through the cable release socket near the trigger button. But, when I try it, the camera just runs at 18 fps. Wrong info in the wiki or defective camera ?

Anyone has a copy of the manual BTW ??
