Hello,
It is almost summer and I am getting ready to shoot my first rolls of 16mm.
I am looking for color in both single and double perf 16mm.
Who offers 16mm these days?
I see Orwo lists them but having it in stock seems to fluctuate.
All the film I will be shooting will be outdoors or a well lit interior. Orwo lists 100 and 400 ASA. Which should I pick for those situations??
The cameras I will be using are a late 1920s Cine Kodak Model B and late 1930s Cine Kodak Special with adjustable f stop settings.
Who still offers single & double perf 16mm DAYLIGHT spools??

Foma is available as 2R. I think Freestyle had some awhile back. I don't think BHphoto has ever had it, but maybe someone just needs to poke at their buyer. It's also available on the Foma website.
I shoot Foma at asa 200 and send it to Spectra. Cinelab in MA does a good job with Foma shot at asa 100. Be sure to shoot at asa 200 if you're going to send to Spectra, or it won't turn out the way you want.

Here's what happens if you shoot Foma at asa 100 and send it to Spectra - second half of this film:

But if you shoot it at asa 200 (and they push it 1 stop), it turns out just fine.

Your footage has some kind of abnormality in it. Is this part of the FOMA film or camera issue?silverhalide wrote:Here's what happens if you shoot Foma at asa 100 and send it to Spectra - second half of this film:

It is not clear if this is on a daylight spool or not. Anyone know??

It almost looks a useful effect for something or other
