Hi Guys,
Does anyone know where I can get my Nikon R10 serviced in the UK? Has anybody on the forum ever used Sendean to service their cameras? Are they any good.
Thanks in advance!

I am not aware of anyone in the UK that can do this. There is Willard Engineering in the US and, I think, someone in Vienna whose details I do not have to hand. I believe thses cameras have also come up for sale reconditioned in Germany. What exactly is wrong with the camera?

Re: Nikon R10 service
Considering the reports on cinematography.com I wouldn't send it to mr Willard
Mr Piel in Vienna did/does work on R10/R8. I am not sure if he is still in business.
What is wrong with the camera? Sometimes it helps to only put the Rew/For button on Forward.

Re: Nikon R10 service
If cant find anything on the forums I would give Andreas at super 8 arena in germany a try.
Ive sent a few cameras there (from the uk). He's extremely helpful and offered me a few solutions before I sent the cameras. He explained the whole process and cameras came back running like a dream. Pretty cheap as well!
I did speak to Sendean around the same time but they just said to send the camera to them and they would look at it at a cost of around £80, before any repairs. I'm sure i did see on this forum that they outsource anyway so I would skip the middle man.
Good luck, hope you get it running.

Re: Nikon R10 service
Hi everyone,
Many thanks for the replies. There's not really anything wrong with it at the moment, but looking to the future - I do want to keep it running as long as possible. I have seen the thread on cinematography.com about Willard Engineering, which has put me off using him.
It would be great if someone could compile a list of servicing options for the different makes of cameras.
