making your film look old

ok, take a break from the usual fuzz with getting the best out of s8;

Now, anybody got any experience with making your feel look bad? That is, aged, old worn, dirty, battered, moldy, etc.? And I know about digital, but this concerns realthing, handmade style.

home processing in a tank for stills is unbeatable. just stuff the film in there and use the t-max reversal kit and don't worry too much about temperatures and such. you will get scratches, uneven brightness, undeveloped frames, dirt specks and everything. i've only tried this with black and white film (it's the only home developing of movie film i've tried to be honest), but i'm sure it works with ektachrome in e6 as well.
