Had a problem with Vitafilm turning ektachrome 160 purple.

I'm afraid I made a mistake with Vitafilm. I soaked a reel for a day which had 50 feet of kodachrome and 50 feet of ektachrome 160 on it. I know it says to put it in a container afterwards for 6-9 months. I left it for well over a year, maybe even 2. Anyway, after I wiped the excess off, the kodachrome turned out fine but the ektachrome now has a serious purple tint to it. Was wondering if I can do anything about that? Have any of you guys had problems with this?
