Is there a remote start/stop attatchment available for the Nizo 4056? I want it for some car shots so I don't have to reach out the window to start and stop the camera.
Anyone have ideas for how to simulate car movement in a night shot (shooting the driver and a passenger inside a car)? If I can, I want to film this scene at night, but I don't think I can get enough light inside the car without blinding the driver and making shooting wile moving dangerous. So if I can figure out a way to make it look like we're moving in the dark without actually driving the car (towing is not an option), that would be ideal.
So far I've come up with:
1. Shoot in a large parking lot and have several friends drive by in other cars.
2. Have people run by in the background with lights of various intensities and colors. Keep the background ratio high enough that only the lights, not the people, would appear on film.
It seems there must be some better way, though
Thanks,
Bruce

I think the passing lights would be best, plus you can add some realistic sounds in post. If you want a little camp to your film, you can always try rear projection like hollywood used to do. ;)
There is a remote for the nizo cameras, it's a little black disk shaped thing with a green button on it. They show up on Ebay all the time. Just search for Nizo remote.
good luck!
