Hello!
My name is Matt, and I have come into possession of a new Super 8 film camera. I'm new to this, so it's very exciting.
Specifically, the camera is a Sankyo MF 303 model. The battery terminals are in good condition, the viewfinder is clear and functional, and the winding mechanism seems to run smoothly. Unfortunately, the original manual for the camera was lost, so I'm not too sure on how to maintain it.
I would like to know if there are any special tasks needed to maintain good working order for the camera. Is periodic lubrication of the moving parts a good idea? Are there specialists who can open up these cameras and inspect the moving parts to see if they are in good condition?
Thank you!
