I know there is loads on the net but this was shot only 15 miles up the road from where I live now, in fact I did a job there back in the late 80s removing asbestos from the buildings boiler

Nice film. It's like the British version of CHiPs. Certainly doesn't look std 8mm, very few std 8 films ever had sound. It's gotta be 16mm.
